I love these type of blogs mainly because I'm really nosy!!! I love knowing what people carry around in their bags so I though maybe you would like to know what I have in mine . My handbag is filled with all the knickknacks that I need on a daily basis and I just couldn't manage without it. Also, I think the contents of someones bag says alot about them!!!! And looking at mine.... I think it says I'm a little bit of a makeup addict - but then again you all knew that anyway!!! So my bag of choice is a Michael Kors Jet Set Top Zip Saffiano Leather Tote. (A massive thanks to my gorgeous husband for buying it for me). So Ya I carry alot of stuff around with me but I just wanna be prepared for any situation that may arise. I'm a little bit of a freak like that but I hate being out and about and needing a hair bobbin or safety pin and not having it so I pack EVERYTHING into my handbag (hense why it's so fricken heavy!!!) My purse - it's a simple black Michael Kors. Perfect size. Has a zip compartment for change, large slot for notes and plenty of little slots for cards etc. Car Keys, iPhone & Charger - Yes my iPhone has sellotape on it...I keep dropping it and the screen has completely detached itself from the rest of the phone. I'm due an upgrade soon so I just have to wait a few more weeks!!!! I always carry a charger because any of you who own an iPhone know the battery life is just terrible. If you use it for any length of time at all it will just die. And that is not good news especially for a blogger (and self confessed phone addict). Tampons, Pads, Hand Sanitizer & Wet Wipes - a must have in every girls handbag. I love the Soap & Glory Hand Sanitizer cause it smells lovely and doesn't leave your hands sticky. I go through packets and packets of wet wipes because I'm always swatching makeup on the back of my hands so I need to have something to remove it. Otherwise I manage to get it all over my clothes (especially when I am wearing white!!!). Hair Bobbins, Gum, Breath Spray, Nail File & Safety Pins - more must haves that don't take up much room and are easy to carry around. How cute is the breath spray. It's by a brand called Hello and I just loved the packaging. Diary, Pens, Business Cards & Beutifi.com Voucher - My diary was a Christmas present & I love it. It has a weekly planner on one side and a notes section on the other. Pens are just a random selection mostly from work. My business card holder was a gift from my lovely friend Lorraine and I think it's super cute. The Beutifi.com voucher I got at our last ITWBN meetup but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I love the idea behind this website - it lets you "search, browse & book 1000's of salons & freelance beauty professional near you" all with the click of a button. Brilliant if you are travelling to a strange town for a wedding or event and don't know the local salons. Saves alot of time and hassle. Roscommon Rose of Tralee Gala Ball Tickets - Cannot wait for this event in April. I am chairperson of our local festival here in Castlerea and every year we put forward a young lady for the Roscommon Rose of Tralee Selection. We get all dressed up and enjoy a fabulous night out. La Roche Posay Badge - This I received a few weeks ago after completing my LRP General Training. I just have to put it on my uniform. Supplements/Tablets - I am currently taking CoQ30 for energy and Chromium which is supposed to reduce sugar craving. I always carry some form of painkiller (ibuprofen/paracetamol), Motilium for an upset tummy and I have Otrivine Nasal spray for a blocked nose. So nothing really exciting on the drugs front. Random selection of lip products - God I really am addicted to lip products. How many lipsticks/glosses/balms can one girl need in her handbag? Anyway from left to right are L'Oreal Nude Collection Privee by Julianne (lovely peachy nude), NYX Lipstick in Tea Rose, Clarins Balm Perfector in Coral, Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Stoned Rose, NYX Butter Gloss in Truffle and finally Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in Honey. My Makeup Bag - More lip products!!!! Hahahaha I'm very bad but I do have other essential items in here aswell. The bag itself is just a little IsaDora bag I received as a gift. It's the perfect size for my handbag and is easily wipe clean. It's contents are as follows: Dove Deodorant - Hate being sweaty! Bourjois Healthy Mix Pressed Powder - This is a great compact as it is really slim and has a big mirror. Nivea Lip Butter - Blueberry (I actually have all the flavours but keep losing them) MAC Select Cover Up Concealer in NW20 - Great coverage without looking too heavy. IsaDora All Day Long Last Mascara* - Black (sample size) Hair Grips The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream - This just smells AMAZING Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in Pillow Talk - Perfect Nude shade IsaDora Powder Brush* Vichy Aqualia Thermal Lip Balm Dior Lip Glow & Dior Lip Balm - There is nothing worse than having chapped sore lips so that's why I always carry at least 3 different lip balms with me. And finally Perfume - I decant into this handy Travalo which is the perfect handbag/travel size.Currently inside is one of my all time favourite perfumes Chanel Chance. Jeez I can fit quite alot into a small bag!!!!!! And that's it. Do you think I am mad for hauling all of this stuff around?
Or what else do you think I should add? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. As always....Be Happy Susie xxx

So I posted a picture of the Invisibobble Hair Tie last week on Facebook and got a massive response . There must be alot of people like me who hate being left with a "dent" in their hair after using an ordinary hair bobbin. No matter how many times you attempt to straighten it the dent NEVER comes out and you basically have to wear you hair up. So what is it and how does it work? Well these spiral rings promise to not to stretch, break, pull or cause split ends and claim to have a strong grip suitable for all hair types and the more important bit - "to leave no trace once removed from the hair". Because of the shape (like an old telephone wire) the ring places uneven pressure around the ponytail therefore leaving no obvious mark. So I tied my hair up at a medium height ponytail and left it in all day. I took it out before going to bed and there was not kink...And because it was a really warm night I decided to put my hair in a low poinytail for the night Result the following morning...NO DENT OR KINK It actually worked. They are €4.99 for 3 bobbins which may seem a little expensive but I think they are a Godsend!!!! The only downside it that I love wearing my hair up in a high ponytail and I don't know if it's just because I have very thick hair but I was unable to get good height or hold on that. They are perfect though for a medium or low ponytail and hold the hair securely throughout the day. You can buy them in pharmacies nationwide or on Feel Unique (http://www.feelunique.com/brands/invisibobble). So who will be investing in InvisiBobbles?
Let me know in the comments below... Until next time...Be Happy!!! Susie xxx This month's box is all about the glitz and glamour of award season. As with the last two boxes it comes packaged in a beautiful matt black box but with the Powder Pocket name embossed in Gold instead of the usual signature electric pink. The Glossy magazine has a hair tutorial by Great Lenghts to show you how to achieve the perfect Hollywood locks and some beauty tips by Ireland's very own Miss World Rosanna Davison. So what's actually in the box? Shiseido - Benefiance Pure Retinol Eye Mask - Full Size RRP €63 for 12 masks (2patches €10.50) This is a 15 minute express eye wrinkle mask which promises to instantly reduce the appearance of visible lines and wrinkles around the eye area using Pure Retinol Micro-Infusion technology. It is also highly moisturising and the Mukurossi Extract switches off the wrinkle promoting enzymes that cause wrinkles to appear. Sounds amazing...cannot wait to try them! The Body Shop - Shea Shower Cream - Full Size €8.95 for 250ml (Sample Size 60ml €2.20) This is actually one of my all time favourite products mainly because of the DIVINE scent. Its a moisturising soap free full body cleanser which lathers up to become a beautiful creamy skin softening wash with a classic scent. It is recommended for dry skin but I think it can be used by all skin types. Herra - Herra Protect Hair Perfume - Full Size 50ml €29.50. (Sample Size FOC) Hair Perfume is huge at the moment with nearly every female celebrities in Tinsel Town using it during award season and the various fashion weeks. And this product from Herra is the ultimate finishing product for protecting and refreshing your hair. It contains sunflower, olive and glycerin extract and is designed to protect hair against UV, pollution and air conditioning whilst locking in moisture without leaving hair feeling weighed down. The bonus is the delicious hair perfume which was exclusively designed by Chanel's former house fragrance expert. The keynotes for this perfume are Italian Bergamot, Loquat Fruit, Midnight Orchid, Rose, White Jasmine Mimosa, Heliotrope, Lily, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood and Musk. Don't know if I will be buying a bottle but I will say it does smell heavenly and if someone wants to give me one as a gift that would be delightful :) (Hint Hint to any of my friends or family reading this!!) Jessica - Brilliance Top Coat - Full Size RRP €13.95 (Full Size received in box), Jessica nail varnishes are worn by Hollywood celebrities including Rihanna and Julia Roberts. Brilliance is an advanced new formula that speeds up drying time and adds a high gloss finish to your polish. I wear Shellac on my nails all the time (It stops me from biting them) however one of my friends swears that you can use bog standard cheap nail varnish and if you use a good base and top coat it will last just as long as any expensive polish. So I will be passing this along to her to test for me. Manicare - 4 Step File & Shine RRP €2.50 This great nail buffer gives the ultimate high gloss shine to your nails. It has 4 sides - a Medium Grit to shape the nails, a Fine side to smooth and file the nail, the Green side to remove ridges and the White side to buff the nail to a fantastic high shine. A must have for your handbag So thats it for another month. The total cost of the box if you were to buy all the products would be just under €30 so double the cost of the subscription which makes it great value. My Standout Products! I am excited to try the Shiseido Eye Mask and the Herra Protect Hair Perfume smells gorgeous but I don't think I will be investing in a bottle just because I know I won't use it. Overall I think its a good box so I will stay subscribed for another month :) Have any of you gotten this month's box? What did you think? Until next time....As always.... Be Happy!
Susie xxx So I have been doing a bit of shopping this week and I thought I would show you what I bought. If you would like a full review on any of the products just let me know in the comment section below. The first item I got was this gorgeous candle and its actually from Pennys and cost €4. There are three fragrances available (I got Powder Room). I love the tins they come it and I think they look really good . The fragrance doesn't really last too long but they still look really pretty. I have heard great things about this Benefit Erase Paste and as I suffer from really bad dark under eye circles I have being dying to get my hands on it. It comes in 3 colours shades, Fair, Medium and Dark and costs €27.50 approx. It is available from Benefit Counters nationwide. Next is my favourite hair brush. Its the Denman D3 Medium styling brush with 7 rows of nylon pins. It has an anti-static rubber pad that provides maxium grip and control during blow-drying. I have being using this for years and it never breaks or pulls my hair. They are about €10 available from pharmacies nationwide. So I popped into MAC...and bought 3 new lipsticks as I am building up my kit. I got the colour of the summer which is this gorgeous neon matte pink (MAC Candy Yum Yum). Then I got this beautiful spiked up Plum (MAC Odyssey) and frosted light coral (MAC Coral Bliss). Can't wait to try them all. (Swatches Below). Available from MAC counters €18. I am really loving these new Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss at the moment. They are a silky gloss that boosts hydration and plumps lips with a beautiful glamorous shine. I got 3..Kiss me coral (not shown), Super Natural and Berry Allure. They also have an SPF 15..Very handy in this gorgeous weather And last but not least since it is sandal season I decided to invest in some new nail polish colours for the summer. I really love the Barry M polishes and especially the new Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint. I got Prickly Pear and Papaya. Prickly Pear is a pale lilac colour and Papaya as the name suggests is a peach/coral shade. Its bright without been neon which I love. You can pick them up in pharmacies nationwide for €5/6 approx.
