Rihanna's final collaboration with MAC will be launced just in time for Christmas. Woohooo!!!! It will see the return of RiRi Woo (matte red) along with two new Lipsticks - Pleasure Bomb and Bad Girl RiRi. (€20.50) I especially love the eye shadow palettes in two combinations — 2XDare and Phresh Out. The colour combinations are amazing! (€44). And also in the collection is a double ended 217 Blending Brush and the 239 Shader Brush (€36) The collection also features a nail polish in RiRi Woo (€14.50), Superslick Liquid Eye Liner in two shades — Cockiness and Pieces Persuation (€23), Bronzing Powder in Love, Rihanna (€29.50) and a beautiful Rose Gold qulited makeup bag (€35) which is just big enough to hold all your new goodies. This limited-edition collection is encased in exclusive white-pearl packaging with RiRi’s rose-gold detailing and will be available on counters from the start of December at Brown Thomas and BT2 stores nationwide. It would make a perfect gift for any Rihanna or MAC fan.
So which item is tempting you the most?

As you all know by now I love the Real Techniques Brushes (cause I never shut up about them). They are a fantastic affordable range and with the help of Sam's tutorial video's everyone can become an expert at applying their makeup. The latest release from Samantha Chapman was the Miracle Complexion Sponge. I will be posting a full review on it soon but for now let me just say I haven't used anything else to apply my foundation since I got it. Any now onto my Christmas Wish list. The newest release from Real Techniques is this 6 piece set called Sam's Picks. The set contains 2 base brushes - the buffing brush and the pointed foundation brush, 2 finishing brushes - the multi-task and the setting brush and finally 2 eye brushes - the fine liner brush and exclusive to the set an essential crease brush.
This is a fantastic introduction for anyone to the range as it contains all the essentials. And even if you own some of the brushes already it always handy to have a clean one on hand. The set will be released in November just in time for Christmas and would make a perfect gift for anymakeup fan. (I think it will retail @ €35 but don't hold me to that). What will top of your Christmas Wish List this year? L'Oreal latest offering has been compared to the Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Foundation (no surprise that the L'Oreal group own Armani Beauty) and at a quarter of the price I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. It claims to be a "feather light foundation which feels as light and fresh as water and gives you the perfect bare skin look". I picked it up on offer for €7.99 but it will retail at €13.00 for 20mls. (Usually foundations come in a 30ml bottle so I think this is a bit of a rip-off). The bottle is glass and to be honest I’m not a huge fan of it. You have to tip the bottle to get the product out and obviously once isn't going to be enough to cover the whole face. I ended up going back about 10 times to get the coverage I wanted. A pump dispenser would be a lot handier and far more hygienic. It is available in 6 shades and has an SPF 18 (not so good for flash photography). It's a sheer to light coverage foundation so I wasn't expecting it to be able to cover alot. It feels very silky when you apply it to the skin and blends seamlessly into it. It literally feels like applying water. I applied it using my fingers and tried to build as much as I could. hhhmmmm!!! Im not sure...It really is very light coverage and didn't cover my redness, blemishes or dark circles with one layer. You would definitely have to build up the coverage or use a good concealer. Oh the bright side it does feel completely weightless on my skin and has a beautiful semi matte finish. This product would be perfect for someone with good skin who is looking for a light coverage foundation with a good SPF (18 in this case), weightless finish and easy application. It blends well and spreads easily and is probably more suited to normal/dry skin. Unfortunately, I haven't fallen in love with this like I would hope to have and my favourite pharmacy foundation still remains the same - Rimmel Wake Me Up....But I will continue my hunt for the holy grail of foundation and keep you updated as I go.
What do you think of the L’Oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint Foundation? Have you tried it? What other lightweight foundations do you like? Ok guys I went a little mad on the shopping spree but I wanted to get some of my favourite products to giveaway to you so you could try them out. So here goes a full list of what is in the bag:
Thanks to you all for checking out and reading this blog. Best of Luck to you all Susie xxx I popped into town today cause I needed to get a few essentials and of course I had to buy some new makeup. I was really interested to try out the new L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint foundation (I got it on offer for €7.99 but I think its going to retail at €13.99). It claims to give undetecable coverage, a natural even, shine free look and feels as light and fresh as water. I will do a full review of it during the week after I've wore it for a couple of days. Maybelline expert wear blush in Flash Plum 79 (€7.49). I saw this and thought was a great autumnal colour. Don't be afraid of darker blushers because even though they look severe in the package they can be applied quite sheer. Just apply a small amout to your blush brush and blend well. You can always add more if you want a deeper colour. I've heard great things about the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara (€10.99) so picked one up whilst out. Now as it so happens L'Oreal own Lancome and I think this L'Oreal Voluminous mascara is a great dupe for my all time favourite mascara Lancome's Virtuose. Both have a curved brush which coat the lashes brilliantly without any clumps and really curl the lashes upwards. eeekkkk I think I have found a new favourite mascara and for a third of the price :) Yippee!!!!! Catrice have a great range of colours for Autumn. I picked up this gorgeous plum nail varnish from their huge selection. They are great value at only €2.99 and if you use a good base and top coat they will last you a few days without chipping. They also have a great selection of individual shadows and are right on trend with the metallic shades in their Liquid Metal range. I love this one called "Mauves Like Jagger". Its a beautiful grey/purple shade and will be perfect for the party season. And at only €4.49 you can't go wrong. I also picked up their highlighting powder (€4.99) which gives a beautiful golden luminous glow. Just apply it on the tops of your cheekbones, down the ridge of your nose and on your cupids bow to make these features POP!!! And last but not least I picked up this Cala crease brush. It was only €6 but feels really soft. It's made from 100% natural hairs and is a lovely size. You can use it for applying under eye concealer also as it blends it out nicely leaving no harsh edges. So have you bought anything new lately? Maybe something to update your Autumn makeup collection or have you tried a new foundation that I should know about? Let me know in the comments below or message me on Facebook. Thanks for reading guys :)
